In August 2025 this year, we were very lucky having an amazing Tom Jones Tribute by Glen Leon - on the August Bank Holiday Sunday.
Past Champers Tribute Nights have been -
Frank Sinatra by Stuart G Wilson, Rod Stewart by Garry Pease, Freddie Mercury by Gary Goodmaze, Luther Vandross, Elton John, Olli Murs, Stevie Wonder, Elvis. Robbie Williams by Lee Pashley was here last year, as was Noel Gallagher - Tribute nights are a favourite. Our local music scene is popping.
When you arrive, we're sure we'll find you a seat if required, although it's usually standing room only. We have some of the best musical talent around. Come by & enjoy live entertainment. Who knows, maybe you'll find your new favourite singer/entertainer!
We are always aiming to have top class music entertainment & tribute acts throughout the year, usually on Bank Holiday Weekends on the Sunday evening, Easter Thursday, and the Thursday before Xmas too.
Champers entertainment is often Free entry, but sometimes there is a ticket or door fee which you can buy in advance, or on arrival. We are a cosy venue, and tickets do sell out quickly, so if you can, it's best to pop in and buy a ticket beforehand, or use the online facility.
When it's Free entry, please arrive early to avoid disappointment, as our venue can become full up quite quickly.

Two top radio personalities - DJ Brett Steven & DJ Ali playing all the disco, soul, rhythm, boogie, soulful house, reggae, groove and jazz-funk oldies mainly from the 70's & 80's including some modern re-mixes and different arrangements with the same up-beat funky dance vibes. New Year Food Feast served from 7pm -9pm so don't be late. This event includes 30 minutes from Lou's birthday playlist too! 9pm-2am. Saturday January 3rd 2026. A party to celebrate the end of Xmas 2025 and the beginning of a New Year. Reliving the old times all night long with old friends and new. An event which is just as popular with over 21's as our local oldtimer crews! Please arrive as early as you like as here's some hot snacks available at the birthday buffet table from 7pm.

We all need a place to relax after work, or at the weekend, so why not do it with a drink in your hand? Join us for 'Early Doors' every weekday from 4pm.
We have a beautiful Beer Garden at the back, with plenty of seating. There is a giant sturdy parasol on the patio. In the winter we have some warm blankets if it's very cold, and heaters. There's further extensive seating on the grassed area with picnic benches.
Fridays have always been popular - starting around 5pm after work, with the Champers Garden filling up early, to catch the last of the evening sunshine on the patio, with everyone celebrating the end of the working week together. (It's a good place to be sheltered from the rain, and it's also cosy in the winter months).

CHAMPERS weekly Spot Prize Karaoke is now on a Sunday and a Wednesday with an early start of 7.30pm and a finish at 11pm on Wednesdays and 12am on Sundays - this means there is 4 1/2 hours of singing time on a Sunday & 3 1/2 on a Wednesday - making a total of 8 hours singing time a week!!!!
We have newbies that are made to feel very welcome, and a strong, regular, local contingent of amazing singers who make a good night of entertainment for those who don't sing at all. Karaoke is really for those wanting to have a go, some may never have sung before, and it's a chance to express yourself, feel encouraged and comfortable, and gain confidence, whilst having an enjoyable and fun night out with friends.
When there's a Bank Holiday weekend, Karaoke will usually be on the Bank Holiday Monday.
